5. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, bet.pk processes personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contractual Necessity: Processing required to perform the contract with you — i.e., operating your bet.pk account, processing bets, and handling deposits and withdrawals.
• Legal Obligation: Processing required to comply with PAGCOR licensing conditions, the Anti-Money Laundering Act (RA 9160 and its amendments), the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and other applicable Philippine laws and regulations.

• Consent: Where processing is not covered by the above bases — particularly for optional marketing communications — bet.pk processes data only with your express consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

bet.pk does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Personal data is shared only as follows:

• PAGCOR: As the regulatory authority, PAGCOR may require bet.pk to submit player data including identity records, transaction histories, and betting activity reports as part of its licensing oversight. This disclosure is a legal obligation.
• Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC): Suspicious transaction reports (STRs) and covered transaction reports (CTRs) as required under Philippine AML law. These disclosures are mandatory and do not require player consent.
• Payment Service Providers: GCash, Maya, BDO, BPI, Metrobank, UnionBank, and other payment processors receive the minimum personal data required to execute the specific transaction. These providers are contractually bound to use shared data only for the transaction purpose.
• Identity Verification Services: Third-party KYC and identity verification service providers process submitted identity documents for the sole purpose of verifying the information provided during registration.
• Technology and Infrastructure Providers: Cloud infrastructure, platform software, and security service providers may process personal data in the course of providing services to bet.pk. All such providers are bound by data processing agreements consistent with RA 10173.
• Law Enforcement and Courts: Where required by a valid court order, subpoena, or lawful request from Philippine law enforcement authorities, bet.pk will disclose personal data as required.

Cross-border transfers of personal data outside the Philippines are conducted only where permitted under the Data Privacy Act and its implementing rules, and only with appropriate contractual safeguards in place.

7. Data Retention

bet.pk retains personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and as required by applicable law. Specific retention periods are as follows:

• Account and Identity Records: Retained for a minimum of five (5) years after account closure, as required by PAGCOR licensing conditions and Philippine AML law.
• Transaction Records: Financial and betting transaction records retained for a minimum of five (5) years as required by the Anti-Money Laundering Act.
• Communication Records: Support chat and email correspondence retained for a minimum of two (2) years for dispute resolution purposes.
• Technical Logs: Server logs, IP records, and session data retained for up to twelve (12) months for security monitoring purposes.

Please note that certain rights may be restricted where bet.pk has a legal obligation to retain or process data — for example, AML-mandated transaction records cannot be erased during the legally required retention period regardless of a deletion request.

11. Children's Privacy and Age Restriction

Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control and content filtering software to prevent minors from accessing online gambling platforms including bet.pk. If you believe a minor has created a bet.pk account, please contact support immediately through the live chat channel.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

bet.pk reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our data practices, new legal requirements, or PAGCOR regulatory guidance. When material changes are made, bet.pk will notify registered players via their registered email address or mobile number at least seven (7) days before the updated Policy takes effect — except where changes are required by immediate regulatory instruction.

If you do not accept a material change to this Privacy Policy, you may close your bet.pk account in accordance with Section 12 of the Terms & Conditions. Closure does not affect the lawfulness of any processing conducted before the closure date, nor does it override legal data retention obligations.
